Yardbirds raises slower growing breeds of broiler chicken. These birds grow at a slower rate than the conventional Cornish Cross which results in a juicier, more tender meat rich in Omega-3 fats. Freedom Rangers, Pioneers, and Color Yield chickens were bred for pasture based systems. This means they are better built to live in our natural environment. They successfully withstand changes in weather, are more heat tolerant, exhibit their natural bird instincts, and overall have a stronger immune system.
